Over the years we've worked on a wide variety of engineering design and prototyping projects, from simple individual metallic and plastic components through to full production machinery. Many of our projects are subject to multiple patent applications or confidentiality agreements so we can't detail them all, but below are some examples of projects that we've worked on that we can talk about.

A heavy duty camshaft assembly for an automotive test application.

We have worked with clients on pneumatic projects which range from simple applications with cylinders and valves, through to complex applications which require high accuracy pressure regulation, vacuum systems and custom manifolds for cleanroom environments.

A 300mm diameter prototype motor assembly for the marine industry.

Sheet metal is commonplace in engineering. We have extensive knowledge and experience of what can be achieved, and we've worked with suppliers to produce prototype and production parts on behalf of our clients.

We have worked with a number of clients to help validate components prior to manufacture using FEA and CFD analysis, thereby optimising the design of components prior to manufacture.

This compact production unit is used in the optical lens production industry. It filters and chills polishing fluid and was driven by the need to be more environmentally friendly by avoiding unnecessary waste.

This small, 3D printed assembly was printed on an in-house printer to allow the design to be visualised and demonstrated at a very early stage of the project.

This two piece cable reel bobbin was designed and optimised for injection moulding, where a high number of cost effective parts were required.

A typical project: mechanical design, 3D printing and machining were completed in-house, while we worked closely with a local electronics company to design and prototype the electronic circuitry and software.
